They have some extra features that you can add to make them even quieter. Climatrak, variable speed fan operation, slowly increases airflow to the needed level. So, these gradual starts eliminate duct noises and popping. York’s high efficiency furnaces offer a sealed burner compartment to silence the sounds of combustion. Two-stage and modulating models, further reduce sound levels by operating, most often, at the lowest settings. Sealed gasketed doors and insulated cabinets, keep sound inside the units housing – not in your home. But even quiet York equipment will make noise if it isn’t installed properly.
